Thai Lettuce Wraps

 Thai Lettuce Wraps  

Ingredients  

1/2 tablespoon olive oil 

250g Mince 

1 t minced garlic 

1/2 onion, diced 

1 tablespoon soy sauce 

1/2 tablespoon rice wine vinegar 

1 spring onion, thinly sliced 

1 small lettuce to make lettuce cups out of 

Mayo to drizzle over 


DIRECTIONS: 

1.  Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium high heat. Add mince and cook until browned, about 3 - 5 minutes, making sure to drain any excess fat.

2.  Stir in garlic, onion, hoisin sauce, and soy sauce until onions have become translucent about 1 - 2 minutes.

3. Stir in spring onions until tender about 1 - 2 minutes; season with salt and pepper to taste. 

4. To serve, spoon several tablespoons of mince to the center of the lettuce leaf.

5. Add a drizzle of mayo on top for flavor
